Notes:

1. Load for TLT Members
   1. Currently 20% release per member.
   2. Martha willing to grant additional release time for expanded duties
      1. Joe and Sonya taking additional 20% to chair core curriculum committee.
   3. Martha open to suggestions but also has specific ideas, including
      1. A Distance Ed go-to person
         1. Sherry has claimed this duty but compensation mechanism is currently clouded for a variety of reasons.
      2. A Learning Communities go-to person
         1. Several team members expressed interest in splitting the task. More discussion on this topic next week.
      3. Someone to develop a website
         1. Possibly like Maricopia Learning Exchange
         2. Sharon will discuss project with Mona
2. Misc Loose Ends
   1. Some parties in the college are unclear on Learning Community process -- that we have a form that must be filled out and approved first!
   2. Need closer integration with deans.
3. Update email list
   1. Sharon assumed responsibility for getting our lists updated for the new semester.
4. Meeting Space
   1. Ivan volunteered to secure meeting space for the rest of the academic year.
5. Lee's Job Description
   1. We only have one of two pages, Lee will re-send to group.
   2. Tabled until next week.
6. Square Roots
   1. Decided to limit Square Roots to former Squares participants.
   2. Will have same "square dance" and "square share" as others.
   3. Will allow Roots members to self-select their roots partner, keeping the goal of working with an unknown person in mind.
   4. Participants will provide each other with syllabus, book, etc.
7. Furniture for L240
   1. Screens due to arrive 9/15
   2. Tables due 9/23
   3. Seating due 9/8
   4. Lockers due 10/13
   5. Sound masking due this century hopefully
   6. Lounge chairs and love seats due 8/28 -- currently past due!
8. Readi Assessment
   1. Brief discussion of tool being piloted by District
   2. Directions will be sent to all committee members so they can begin evaluation process.
