1. Emotional Intelligence Workshop
   1. Sharon and Joe will set up tables
   2. Sharon will return Patricia to airport
   3. Sherry and George have Patricia's pickup covered
   4. Shery has tech needs covered
   5. At present only 5 respondants
   6. Decision made to open workshop to entire NLC community
2. Response to Paul
   1. Sonya passed out very useful information describing how other colleges justify and pay for LCs.
   2. Paul's math is bad. We've had accountants, math instructors, and others agree with our conclusions.
   3. Group agreed to the need for a formal response.
      1. Sherry will draft the response.
      2. No more than two pages.
      3. Will ask for an answer on the Spring load question
      4. Will ask (freaking again!!!) for guidance from admin.
      5. Need to alogn response with Stragegic Goals.
   4. Will Paul meet with us next week as planned? Doubt is in the air.
   5. Sherry (???) points out that every interaction between this group and admin has been initiated by this group.
   6. Lee fills us in on the background of the reorganization movement that lead to the development of TLT. Several very interesting things to say, especially in light of the tasks we were originally presented with, which seem to have little to do with the mission planned (but never communicated) for us.
   7. We have spent enough freaking time on this!!! We very much do not want to have a focus group or a meeting involving deans or anything of the sort. the problems are between admin and TLT and should be settled by those two groups.
   8. Lee suggested a springboard email discussion with Linda.
3. Campus Conversations
   1. We need to attend campus conversations in order to promote our interests. Yes, it's a forum designed for students, but students don't seem to be using it. Someone might as well.
4. Newsletter
   1. Newest draft is good except Sharon feels it needs a hook.
   2. Add Ivan's SEXI model back in to meet this need.
5. Logo
   1. Group likes the letter L
   2. Group likes the "differences."
   3. Group not as crazy about beloved 'tribal' logos.
   4. No interest in trees.
   5. Not much interest in jumping man.
   6. Use of clip art discouraged.
   7. More development and tweaking needed.
6. Focus Group
   1. Lee needs people to attend a focus group to help develop strategic priorities for the District (excuse me, SYSTEM) Technology Committee.
   2. We agree to attend and to bring a co-worker if possible.
7. New Business: Evergreen
   1. Need to identify participants
   2. Agreement to discuss next week
8. New Business: Binder
   1. Sonya feels a binder of our group's history would be helpful for new members.
   2. Sharon feels the website accomplishes this purpose.
   3. Several others feel we can't successfully complete a binder at this time because we don't even know if we'll be in existance next year.
