Old Business

• We skipped this and went straight for the good stuff. Unless the half-hour late note-taker missed something.

Blue/Green Week

• Dry run on Monday 22 at 1:00 PM L241
• Presentation is on 24th from 11:00 - 1:30. 
• We need to be present at 10:30.
• Note: Need to reserve boxed lunch for RSVP people need to be marked.  Need to do this at ALL mixers to insure our respondees get food!!!!
• Sherry will arrange for PC setup for Monday and Wednesday.

Teaching Squares

• Teaching Squares registration will run 22nd through Sept. 9th
• Limited to 30 participants.
• RVP Pat Henry
• Adjuncts will be encouraged to participate -- maybe liason with division secretaries to see that the message gets out to adjuncts.
• Woodrow Wagner and Katherine V. have volunteered to lead squares.  Sharon will lead two, one specifically for her evening adjuncts.
• Will put Rollabind notebooks together during regular meeting on the 7th. Jim and Sharon will bring punches.
• Teaching Squares Lunch
  Want to be as nice as tea.

Point Person

• Joe volunteered for this important role.

New Business

• Sharon has volunteered to contact Jim Casey see that 7TL gets updated to include new members and Lee, and to ask for a 7TLF list
• Sherry and Sharon will meet with the President to discuss marketing efforts for Learning Communities
• Joe has volunteered to get an update on the LC space in the library.
• Short discussion on clickers.  Discovered that JD has purchased/will purchase 5 classroom sets for checkout by faculty.  Sharon mentioned she is getting the software-based clickers for her classroom.
• General feeling that participants of the Critical Thinking workshop need to meet to make a formal action plan.  Everyone nodded in agreement, but no conclusive action settled upon.
