- Remember, you can complete lab work in our labs or at home. Macromedia has a free 30 day trial version of the software. Lacking software is not an excuse for not doing your classwork.

- Homework Discussion: Develop a short monochromatic (one color) 5-second frame-by-frame animation on any subject.

- Group Critique: Frame-by-Frame Animations
- Lecture, Ch. 5 -- Shape Tweens
- Viewing: Animations in Television
- Homework: Create a tv intro (that thing at the beginning of the TV shows that says who is starring, who the directors are, etc) for a TV show called "My Impossible Life." Your project must be at least 15 seconds long, and must make extensive use of shape tweening. Don't forget about layers! They will be helpful!!

- Todd Galina, Flash Animator, has two short Flash files that show how he works with scans and how he arranges animation in a Flash movie. These are great overviews! Pay attention to all the layers and objects.
