Grades are complete. Many of you did not follow the procedure that was specified below for turning your work in. As a result I am turning my grades in late and they may not show up on your report card. They will however still be posted to your transcripts and averages. If you did not reciecve a final grade from me and you would like to know what it is. Please contact me. And have a great summer!

Please read project criteria before you submit them for final grading. If you have questions please contact me.

Each Project is worth 20% of your grade
Due to the scheduling of Spring Break for the college and Charter students, I have revised the exercises that are to be completed for grading, in order to allow more time and concentration on major projects as listed above.

All of your exercises will count as a combined 10% of your grade
All bookwork completed. Book work will be graded as a whole.
Book work all chapters  
Your bookwork will count as a project. All Chapters complete will make up 20% of your grade.

The breakdown of how your grades will be averaged

A = 90-100 Projects = 60%
B = 80-89 Bookwork = 20%

C = 70-79

Exercises= 10%
below C = Failing Class Part. 10%
  Total= 100%

 

Turning in your assignments:
ALL projects, exercises, and Book work must be submitted by no later than MIDNIGHT on MAY 7th.
The proper format for turning in your work is as follows:
1. All works must be completed and uploaded to the NORTHLAKE server.
2. All works must be LINKED to your home page. DOUBLE CHECK to make sure that you do not have any broken links
When you have completed the first 2 steps. You must submit your work for FINAL grading via email. All I need is a link to your home page. All of your assignments should be linked to this page. Your link should be as follows:

Terms, Abbreviations & Icons

  • ic = in class. Activity, lesson, or other calendar item completed in class.
  • Readings = articles or chapters that should be completed BEFORE the class session
  • Topics = short graded papers or projects
  • Quizzes = short multiple-choice quiz on designated material
  • Activities = ungraded assignments done in class that prepare you for additional classwork or which expand on material on the textbook or from lecture.
  • Exercises = graded practices covering specific objectives. Exercises generally will be completed in one class session.
  • Projects = graded assignments. Projects take from two class sessions to an entire semester.
  • References = documents provided for additional information. You will never be tested on a reference document. If you're falling behind in class, the reference documents should be ignored.
  • Bookwork = Work from the textbook chapter.
  • Admin = administrative items needed to make the class run more smoothly.
  • Notes = tips on how to handle particular assignments.
  • HOT = textbook, Dreamweaver Hands-On Training

Gallery Icon = Gallery of web sites serving as examples of techniques or concepts discussed in class
Viewlet Icon = Viewlet (short movie) demonstrating a software technique. Hoover over the icon to see the show's title. Please remember that a Viewlet's content does notreflect all the material in a chapter.
Link Icon = Link to a web site used in lecture. Hoover over the icon to see the site's name or URL.
