Project 1: Personal Home Page
GOAL: Students will assemble five web pages with text and graphics. Make sure that you have covered all the objectives listed in page p1-1.67
Students who feel their personal security would be violated by publishing
personal information on the Internet. (Please note that you do have the option
of using a fake name or fake personal data on the assignment as well.)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Students should develop a rough storyboard or "game plan" describing what
they wish to do to their site. This storyboard example looks
like a flowchart, but a simple text outline is enough.
- Students need to gather visual materials. Photographs, sketches and other
artworks, family letters, and other like material are acceptable. Please
keep the North Lake Digital Imaging
Copyright Policy in mind when selecting objects.
- This project will be graded based on a student's technical skills (80%)
and artistic endeavors (20%).
- This project does not have a specific itemized list of technical objectives.
To insure a good score on the technical portion of the grading, students
should complete a textbook chapter and then apply techniques learned in
the chapter to the project.
- Upload your work to the geocities server or any other servers and e-mail
the link to your instructor.
