Very strong Windows and web skills, ITSC 1413 highly recommended.
Course Description:
Designed for advanced students with no prior server administration experience. Students will install Microsoft Internet Information Server, understand basic internal and external security issues, install, configure and implement basic network services; and troubleshoot and maintain an existing server. Topics include FTP, SMTP, FrontPage Extensions; and third-party services such as Serv-U FTP and Flash Comminucation Server.

Course Description:
Course uses Macromedia Flash MX 2004 to develop animations and web site interfaces using Flash's animation tools and basic ActionScript. No prerequisite. Prior to Summer 2004 this course was taught as ITSE 1411 ActionScript and ITNW 1492 Special Topics Web Animation. Course substitutions are available for students in degree plans who took the course with an older number, please contact Sharon Huston for assistance.
