Registering for Classes

After selecting a class your next step is to actually enroll in the class. This page gives a brief overview of the process; the DCCCD Catalog can answer more questions. We have information for new DCCCD students, returning students, and current students.

The DCCCD no longer has late registration! You must register by the first class session!

North Lake's Admissions and Registration Offices are your first, best resource for admissions and registration issues!

New DCCCD Students

  • The first step in the process is to submit an application to the school and be formally accepted. Applications are available online, but if you're registering within one week of the start of class we highly recommend you visit your nearest campus and register in person. If you have a high school transcript, high school diploma, or college transcripts (or even photocopies) bring them when you register.
  • Once you have been accepted by the District you may enroll in your selected classes. In most cases new students must register in person on any DCCCD campus.
  • After being admitted, registering, and paying for your classes you are ready to prepare for class by buying books and software, and setting up your web account.

Returning DCCCD Students

  • Former DCCCD student who have attended class in the past year (even if you've skipped a semester) are treated as current students.
  • Students who have been away for more than one year must update their admissions application, and must settle any blocks prior to registering.
  • Once you are re-admitted and blocks are settled you may register for class.
  • After registering be sure to get prepared for class buy purchasing your books and software (if needed), and by setting up your web account.

Current DCCCD Students

  • Students meeting certain criteria may register online using eConnect. Don't forget to pay your tuition! This seems to be the biggest hurdle our students face when registering online.
  • Students who cannot register online may register on campus
  • After registering be sure to get prepared for class buy purchasing your books and software (if needed), and by setting up your web account.
